These two have a ton of energy! Their first date was on the Kemah Boardwalk, and when I found that out I knew that we had to take their engagement photography session there. They started their first date at Saltgrass Steakhouse (one of my personal favorites) and ended watching fireworks.
Taylor is a teacher and Ty is a firefighter. Naturally, we all got along. I started with explaining to Taylor that I prefer my engagement sessions to be more like a date rather than a photo session. I made sure that they knew that what ever they wanted to do, we should do. So they ended up buying a bubble machine that is shaped like a T-Rex. Too funny!
Taylor and Ty were craving a glass of wine. I figured this would be perfect for the photos, plus it would relax them some after having to fight traffic on the way to Kemah. After I suggested we go play some games and take some photos of them playing.
We ended the day, just as they did on their first date by watching fireworks. Blue hour and night photographs are some of my favorite. They are so unique and interesting, the cherry on the top so to speak.
Thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer!
